Nora's day care went to a live monkey show today, and I tagged along for the ride. When we got there, Nora was a bit cranky and clingy, but once the show started and the monkeys came out to play, she warmed up. She pointed and yelled "DOG" at each of the monkeys, which got some laughs. There was also an opportunity to hold and feed a monkey, which we did. Nora cried at first, but then she reached out to pet the monkey, and that settled her down.
