The messy face baby is such an obvious choice for a picture, but sometimes I just can't resist. Tonight, Nora refused to eat her purees. That is, until I smeared her blueberry and peach puree across a piece of bread, and then she went to town. I know this isn't a very balanced meal, but she turned down both veggies I offered her. And by turned down, I mean swatted the spoon away with great enthusiasm and then gave me the sassiest, most defiant look you might be able to imagine coming from the face of a 9.5 month old.
Since she got her way, she seems pretty pleased with herself, doesn't she?
