Day 1- Happy New Year!

Nora rang in the new year in alarming style as she was woken up by fireworks and sirens just shortly after midnight. Despite the unhappy 45 minutes we spent with her in the wee hours of the morning as we comforted her back to sleep, she managed to have a pretty good first New Year's Day.

The day was spent mostly at home, though she did spend a few hours at Dede and Grandpa's, like we do almost every Sunday.

Since it was a lovely and sunny 60 degree day (in January??), we spent a few minutes out in the fresh air to celebrate a fresh new year.



Here she is reflecting on 2011. She thinks it's been the best year of her life so far.
