Our house is pretty much wall-to-wall hardwood, except for the kitchen and bathroom, which have tiles. So, we got Nora a spongy ABC puzzle play mat, which is currently the focus of our living room.
Unfortunately, Nora prefers to crawl around the perimeter of the mat, pull it apart, and eat it than to play on it as we intended. I like that she thinks outside the box. I just wish she wouldn't pull the germy box apart and stick it in her mouth.
