She has been super alert since she was a newborn, and now, as a fully-aware toddler, she always has her neck craned and her nose in everyone's business when we are out in public. She LOVES standing at our front door and watching the world go by.
She reminds me of my great-grandmother, Jennie, who would stand in the window for what seemed like hours so not to miss anything exciting that might happen on her little dead-end street.
