First we headed over to Victor Ashe Park to play.
Swing Time |
Walking across an unsteady bridge with Dad's help |
Hopping off the sliding board |
Moving down to her favorite field |
She climbed up on this bench but was not sure what to think about her shadow. |
After we felt like we had run her around enough, we headed to Ruby Tuesday for dinner where Nora received many compliments on what a "doll" she was and how well-behaved she was. We were, of course, very proud of her.
Finally, we hit the grocery store. We knew we were moving in to iffy territory because it was sneaking up on what should have been bath time (and bed time!) but we had the goal to keep her awake about 30 minutes later than usual, so we forged on. She was as sweet as can be for our whole grocery trip. We definitely felt relieved because it could have gone very wrong.
Once we got home, Nora still had time to watch an episode of Play With Me Sesame before calling it a night. Let's hope that our plan to wear her out and keep her up doesn't come back to bite us in the morning.
And as a bonus, Nora got her hands on the camera at some point today, apparently, and she took these self-portraits. A budding abstract/artsy photographer, don't you think?
