Day 292- Photodump!

Day 291- Togetherness

I love just BEING with our little family. Even when we're doing nothing other than sitting around our livingroom, watching tv, coloring, reading books, or some combination of all three at one time, I am content.

Nora loves to get out and socialize, but I hope she grows to appreciate quiet time at home with her dear old Ma and Pa.

Day 290- Afternoons at Home

Nora spent some time lounging around the back yard when she and her Daddy got home this afternoon.

 

I had a late meeting, so by the time I got home, dinner was cooking and Nora was actually scratching at the door to be let in. She must have learned that from the dogs! Ha!

Day 288- TV Time and Dance Party

Nora's new favorite show is called "Super Why". She watches it more intently than anything else that comes on our TV.  It's an educational show about story books and the alphabet and learning to spell, so I guess there are worse things she could be watching, right?

Day 287- Fancy Headdress

Try as I may, I can not get Nora to leave any kind of pretty bow, clip, headband in place.

But a cloth diaper insert?

She put this on her head and left it there for at least 5 minutes, looking at me almost the whole time, as if daring me to say something about it.

My kid is the weirdest. AND I think she is doing this to purposely antagonize me.

Never mind me, just drinking my juice with a diaper on my head.

Day 286- Class Visit

Brad and Nora stopped by to visit this evening because I had to work at a football game. It was a quick visit, but I was so happy they came because I knew I wouldn't get home until after Nora was in bed for the night.
